Taycan is a pure electric 5-door 4-seater crossover car, with a length of nearly 5 meters and a wheelbase of 2904 millimeters, all equipped with dual motor four-wheel drive.
The new Taycan is equipped with a 105 kWh power battery, with a maximum range of 555-693 kilometers, which is an improvement from the previous generation model. Using 800V DC charging, the maximum charging power is 320 kW, which is 145 kW higher than the previous generation. Charging power above 300 kW can last for 5 minutes.
Charging power increases and charging speed accelerates. The charging time from 10% to 80% can be reduced by half compared to the current model. The first generation Taycan took 37 minutes to charge from 10% to 80% at 15 ºC. The new Taycan battery capacity has increased (from 93 kWh to 105 kWh), but under the same conditions, the above energy replenishment process can be completed in 18 minutes.
The new Taycan comes standard with an adaptive air suspension system, and some models can be optionally equipped with the ActiveRide suspension system. The optional system maintains the Taycan's body level during dynamic braking, steering, and acceleration operations. When driving smoothly, the system can almost completely absorb bumps; In dynamic driving situations, this suspension system ensures that the vehicle adapts to the road surface by evenly distributing wheel loads.
